Advantech delivers powerful digital signage PC hardware

I've been testing a small form factor PC from Advantech.

The DSA-3300 series XP Embedded unit has a very small footprint (think roughly 3 DVD movie cases stacked one on top of one another). There is a small fan inside this unit but it is extremely quiet (and very effective). The case never gets hot, just a bit warm to the touch and this even after a solid 48 hours of running mixed content which included 720P HD video.

Performance is excellent and the unit can be ordered from Advantech with various options line wireless and TV Tuner. Advantech also has an Intel Dual-Core model but mine came with an Intel Pentium 1.6G w/512 Mb of RAM and a 40 Gb HD. You can also order the unit with a Celeron CPU if you don't plan to run any HD content.

Highly recommended!

How are the prices? Does the chipset support hardware rotation?
